Joint Care Center

Jefferson Regional Medical Center’s Joint Care Center was created to better integrate all facets of care in order to achieve "best practice” outcomes and the highest in patient satisfaction. 

Joint Care nurses are specialized in the care of orthopedic patients and have added training in pain management.  Our Joint Care Specialist is a Registered Nurse dedicated to pre-op and post-op coordination of care and visits each patient daily for the duration of their stay.

We offer weekly pre-operative education classes to better prepare patients and their families for their upcoming surgery experience.  We offer a “graduation luncheon” for Joint Care patients weekly, which allows patients and families to interact socially with our staff and each other.
