With the right guidance, you can help prevent the onset of many heart
illnesses. That's why our dedication to providing expert heart care
includes programs for prevention and wellness.
Whether you're trying to quit smoking or develop a healthy diet, we
can help. Our Calendar of Events
includes frequent education and support programs for people seeking a
heart-healthy lifestyle. We also offer private nutrition counseling,
exercise, and weight loss programs to help you reach your personal
goals.
Our Cardiac Rehabilitation program
also offers help to patients who have previously suffered a heart
attack or received heart surgery as part of treatment.
Persons with heart disease or risk factors for developing heart disease
can enroll in a program to allow them to live a healthier life. The Dr. Dean Ornish
Program for Reversing Heart Disease is a comprehensive lifestyle modification
program designed to assist participants in the management of heart disease
by addressing key risk factors associated with its onset and progression.
Through healthy lifestyle modification, the Ornish Program teaches participants
how to improve their health and well being to live longer and healthier.
“We are pleased to be able to provide our patients with access to a program
that has been nationally recognized for its success in improving the health of
participants,” said Lexi Robinson, director, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab,
