Mary Beth Lowery Appointed Director of Marketing and Communications

Former western Pennsylvania resident Mary Beth Lowery returned to the Pittsburgh area from Rochester, NY, and accepted the position of director of marketing and communications at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Her responsibilities at Jefferson Regional include directing and implementing strategic internal and external marketing and communication initiatives at the award-winning community hospital located in Jefferson Hills and multiple outpatient locations in various South Hills communities.

In Rochester, Lowery served as vice president and chief marketing and development officer for AIDS Care, an organization of medical and social service professionals providing HIV/AIDS care and support services, where she started the marketing and development function. Her previous positions included corporate relations manager for the Seneca Park Zoo Society in Rochester and vice president and director of marketing at Citibank, New York. She also served as product manager, Old El Paso Mexican foods, for Pet Inc., St. Louis, MO.

Lowery attended St. Louis University, where she earned an MBA degree, and Washington University in St. Louis, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a concentration in marketing and finance. Her professional affiliations include the American Marketing Association, where she serves as a member of the leadership committee.
