Jefferson Regional Medical Center Announces Expansion of Women’s Health Services
Jefferson Hills, PA - September 23, 2011
Women’s Health Services at Jefferson Regional Medical Center is led by Anthony F. Gentile, MD, Director of Gynecological Services, a well-respected gynecologist in the Pittsburgh area who has served patients in the region for years. Two current convenient locations for gynecological and women’s healthcare are at the Jefferson Regional Bethel Park Campus, Suite 108, 1000 Higbee Drive, Bethel Park (412-854-7050) and in Munhall at 3212 Main St. (412-464-1802).
Beginning October 4, Anthony F. Gentile, MD and Associates will expand gynecological care to offer patients a third location in Suite 575, South Hills Medical Building (412-267-6280), on the Jefferson Regional campus. Hours at the new Jefferson Hills office will be: 2nd and 4th Monday and every Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and 1st and 3rd Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Three additional gynecologists (shown left to right in photo) have joined Dr. Gentile’s practice:
John Alexander Sunyecz, MD, FACOG, CCD, founder and president, MenopauseRx, Inc., Uniontown, is vice president, Laurel Highlands Ob/Gyn, P.C. He previously was a resident physician with The University Health Center of Pittsburgh Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine Sciences at Magee-Womens Hospital.
Christine B. Wilson, MD, FACOG, CCD, is a partner with Laurel Highlands Ob/Gyn, P.C., who has been with the practice since 2000 after completing her residency at York Hospital, York, PA.
Lawrence J. Glad, MD, FACOG, CCD, Lawrence J. Glad, MD, FACOG, CCD, president of Laurel Highlands Ob/Gyn, P.C., previously was a resident physician with The University Health Center of Pittsburgh Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine Sciences at Magee-Womens Hospital, and director, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Uniontown Hospital.
Dr. Gentile says a major advantage of trusting a woman’s gynecological care to the specialists at Jefferson Regional is that all of her medical and surgical needs can be met at a comfortable location close to home where exceptional service and excellent care are provided, “from routine exams and screenings to menopausal therapy, gynecological procedures and advanced reconstructive surgery. Also, our medical team is very experienced and is proficient with minimally invasive surgical techniques.”
