Jefferson Regional Outpatient Services opened at the Brentwood Professional Plaza in late January, offering quality health care services to residents of Brentwood, Carrick and South Side.

Located at 3720 Brownsville Road, the newly built suite is located on the third floor of the Brentwood Professional Plaza and offers physical therapy, nutrition counseling, diabetes education and counseling services. All services are provided by the fully accredited and certified staff of Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Future plans include the addition of cardiology testing at this location.

“The opening of this center marks Jefferson Regional’s continued commitment to bring the very best quality health care closer to home for the communities we serve,” said Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Robert A. Frank. “Residents who live between downtown and our main campus in Jefferson Hills now have another convenient choice for outpatient services.”

Jefferson Regional’s locations for health care services now extend to Brentwood, Baldwin, Bethel Park, Clairton, Jefferson Hills, Monongahela, Pleasant Hills, Squirrel Hill, Uniontown, West Mifflin and Whitehall.

Frank adds that patients at the community locations benefit from free parking and that the Brentwood location in particular is convenient to mass transit options.

The recently opened Outpatient Services Center in Brentwood enhances services already offered at that location including the Jefferson Regional Sleep Diagnostic Center and JRMC Diagnostic Services LLC. The diagnostic center offers blood draw services and a comprehensive diagnostic imaging center. Imaging modalities include x-ray, CT, MRI, bone density, ultrasound and mammography. The center’s open MRI machine offers the largest opening available accommodating larger-framed persons and reducing anxiety related to claustrophobia.

In response to community need, JRMC Diagnostic Brentwood added EKG services as a convenience for area residents undergoing pre-surgical testing.

The first floor of the Brentwood Professional Plaza is occupied by The Brentwood Medical Group, offering Primary Care Physician Services by Scott Phillips, MD; Scott Carnivale, MD; and Dushan Majkic, MD. All three physicians are on the Medical Staff at Jefferson Regional.
