The Community Health Council is a group of local leaders who assist
with various community-related activities and programs. Members are
selected from fourteen different communities served by Jefferson Regional
Medical Center.
The Community Health Council also sponsors two major annual events:
- a poster contest for students in our community schools, and
- a "Community Recognition Night" event for local government officials, legislators,
police, fire and EMS representatives.
The Community Health Council helps to keep Jefferson Regional Medical Center connected
to our neighbors. The members serve as our ambassadors at community events and
civic organization or council meetings.
